Siberian Larch

Siberian larch (Larix Sibirica) is a coniferous tree from the Pinaceae family, typically these trees can reach a height of 45-60 meters and width of 1.5-2.0 meters with a lifespan of 400/500 years possible.

Larch is widely spread throughout the Russian Federation. The best lumber is made from Larch growing in Siberia where the climate is most favourable for this species, with harsh cold winters (down to -40°C) and warm summers (up to +40°C) making ideal growing conditions. We supply high quality Larch lumber from Irkutsk and Krasnoyarsk regions and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutiya).

A major advantage of Larch is it’s durability and its high resistance to weather and rot, this is why Siberian Larch is ideal for outdoor use and boat building.

Our timber processing facilities are situated in the town of Lesosibirsk in the northern part of Krasnoyarsk region. The stability of supplies is brought about by close location to the timber cutting sites and long-term agreements with the loggers.
